The Minnesota Zero Waste Coalition is gathering sign-ons to a letter urging Governor Walz to take executive action to phase out the purchase of unnecessary single-use plastics by state agencies. The letter calls on the state to eliminate the procurement of items like plastic bottles, utensils, and food containers and instead prioritize reusable and refillable alternatives.
